Out & About : Katie Holmes in D&G Fall 2008

After marrying Tom Cruise and having a child, it's clear that Katie Holmes has evolved. Both as a woman and a woman in fashion. Though some may question her taste, and say that she's become a little too mature - well it may be true to a certain extent. I think we all must admit that that actress does know a thing or two about current trends.

Recently, Katie was spotted out & about in New York City with daughter Suri. While Suri was as cute as can be, in her little blue dress and red flats, Katie proved that she's knows what's now. Paring a long navy blue cardigan over a street sweeping plaid dress, she mixed just a few of Fall's biggest trends. Aren't you just jealous that Katie has the ability to walk the streets, in one of the finale dresses from the D&G Fall 2008 collection?

Since it's been a bit brisk in New York as of late, Holmes was well prepared. Unlike the dress in the runway presentation - she layered her dress. By adding a black under piece and scarf, she channeled a Boho Chic, while remaining warm. Though the dress didn't have the same life as Magdalena Frackowiak gave it on the runway, Katie's take on the dress is something to take note of.
